- overruns? What modems are being used by your ISP? You know, the problem
- could be external to you. You could have significant noise problems on
- your line; what happens when you call other modems (like BBS's)?

- No, no init string but you can get a basic reading of the line conditions
- with an ati11 and an ati6 (after the call). You can (though not with
- Netscape) go into command mode (send 3 +'s) and dump these also.
